Hugo continues his preparation for the Mini Transat on his Maxi 650. In these episodes, he shares with us both his discovery and regatta experiences, but also the life of a sailor on this circuit on a daily basis.

Hugo, The Sailing Frenchman, is sailing a Maxi 650 and is preparing for the Mini Transat 2021. In this episode (and the following ones), he takes part in the Mini in May, a regatta that starts from La Trinité and returns to La Trinité after a long loop to the North and Ushant before returning to the South around the Ile de Ré.

As usual, the sailor will make mistakes, but will discover that in a regatta, you have to keep at it. In spite of a backache, which prevented him from many hours at the helm, he will be back in contact with the fleet to finish in ninth place.

In the 3rd episode aired here, he takes a friend who discovers the Mini. For a delivery to Concarneau, they will take advantage of a long downwind leg to make some nice high speed runs. Moments when the Mini is really a great machine.
