Hugo is training to take part in the Mini Transat 2021. Among the competitors' obligations, they must complete a qualification course. We find Hugo on his Maxi 6.50 as he passes Ushant and heads back to Ireland.
This tack will be downwind at speeds often above 14 knots. At these speeds he even manages to hand over the helm to the pilot and to rest. But the worst is in light airs, because if the sailboat is still moving at 3 knots with 3 knots of wind, the skipper cannot sleep, because he is too close to the cargo rail, the famous DST.
But all these maritime adventures don't disturb Hugo, who always takes advantage of the sea, these landscapes and even the dolphins that come to play with the hull. This sailor loves (and shares this passion) to be at sea. It's a pleasure to see.
Not hesitating to take out his drone, Hugo makes us live his daily life on board. If filming on board sleeping, eating, tinkering, he takes us on board his Mini for a discovery of this universe.
