End of the Mini Transat 2021 for Hugo, last days and arrival in Guadeloupe

Hugo signs here the end of the Mini Transat 2021 with an arrival in Guadeloupe. A transatlantic race that did not go as well as he had hoped in terms of ranking, but which brings him the pleasure of a beautiful 18-day crossing.

Hugo, The Sailing Frenchman, finishes this Mini Transat 2021. The whole route took place in light winds and it is only in the last few days that the wind became a little more steady. As a result, the hoped for long surfs are finally coming and Hugo is enjoying these last hours of sailing under the sun while having fun in the well formed Atlantic swell.

However, Hugo is not happy with this transatlantic race which took place in 18 days. Indeed, the ranking is not up to his ambitions. During the preseason races, Hugo had always been in the top 10. But this time he found himself in the middle of the table. The result of a bad option with a choice of the Northern route taken from the beginning which did not pay off. The Southern route had more wind throughout the route.

However, Hugo still takes as much pleasure in sailing as ever and shares it with everyone by showing joy in sailing and being amazed by a moonrise (with an incredible rainbow of moonlight) or a new sunset.

The arrival with a warm welcome in the middle of the night, also shows the spirit of the Mini where each skipper, even the last one is warmly welcomed on the pontoons.
