Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing: a wonderful day of sailing in the sun

Daniela, Marvin and Tara leave Gibraltar for Marina Del Este, in the south of Spain, a few miles from Malaga. A navigation of about 12 hours with a splendid weather! What more could you ask for!

After filling up with water and fuel, Nomad Citizen Sailing weighed anchor and continued its journey along the Spanish coast. Direction Marina Del Este, on an incredible summer day before its time! A 12 hour sail with just the right amount of wind for sailing.

The first part of the race is only done under headsail - D code and genoa - accompanied by the dolphins at a speed of about 4 knots. Just magical. The sea is calm, there is no swell or waves and the family enjoys this beautiful sunny day.

For the end of the navigation, the wind dropped, and Marvin decided to lower the genoa and to sail under mainsail and Code D on spinnaker pole. The time passed and it was at midnight that the family arrived at the anchorage a few miles from their destination. A not easy night with a rolling anchorage.

In the morning, they join the splendid marina, which they make us discover during a stroll on land.
