The day begins for Daniela, Marvin and Tara with the delivery of the races on the beach in front of their anchorage. With a beautiful sunny day, they plan to visit the town of Alvor, located 6 miles from their anchorage and recommended by their Venezuelan neighbours.
This is their first navigation in Portugal and especially the first time they will be able to test their Code D since their new installation.
But once there, it was impossible to find a suitable anchorage. The first one is narrow and many boats have already dropped anchor and their large draught - 2.30 m - does not allow them to anchor anywhere because of the tide.
So we find them again in front of the big beach of Portimao, after a bitter failure to visit Alvor. But the family is still optimistic and to console themselves, they do a weightlifting session on the beach.
