Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing introduces you to its sailboat, an Oceanis Clipper 473

In this new video, Daniela and Marvin introduce you to their sailboat, a Bénéteau Oceanis Clipper 473, and how they live on board.

Marvin and Daniela decided to live on the water. While confinement has so far called into question their route plan, forcing them to stay along the European Atlantic coast, they are preparing their boat for their future transatlantic journey.

In this video, they show us their boat and how they have organised it to live on board as a 3-person crew, a Bénéteau Oceanis Clipper 473 in owner's version. That is to say that they only have two cabins on board - one forward for the couple and one aft for their little girl - but they are very large and offer a lot of storage space. And each cabin has its own private bathroom, but the couple has chosen to use only the forward one, which has a real separate shower.

In this 14.3m sailboat, space is really important for a family of 3 with a beautiful saloon that converts into a huge bed, a large L-shaped galley - Daniela's domain, who is the family's head cook - or a chart table where the couple work on their videos or manage the navigation.

Outside, the cockpit is enclosed and allows the family to have meals outside when the weather permits.

But before heading back out to sea, Daniela and Marvin decided to carry out a few repairs to their boat - including a new seating arrangement in the saloon, a new bimini and new solar panels.
