Constructed from thick, 100% recyclable aluminum, this twin-keel, twin-safran sailboat is designed to offer unfailing strength and perfect stability when beached.
Specifications for the trip
With a length of 10.87 meters and a beam of 3.99 meters, the Meta 36 boasts large interior volumes. The strongall construction means that part of the internal structure can be dispensed with, improving the usability of the layout.
Patrice Passinge, former owner of the Meta shipyard, designed this boat with a pragmatic, functional approach, emphasizing system accessibility and ease of maintenance.
Everything has been designed to be simple and easy to access. No profusion of fittings or high-tech electronics. At first glance, the extreme simplicity of the deck layout makes you wonder if the boat is finished.
Autonomy is a key feature of this model, with a capacity of 350 liters of diesel and 330 liters of water, ideal for long crossings. Its sprayed cork and 40 mm foam insulation make it equally suited to icy waters and the tropics.
Incredible brightness
The interior of the Meta 36 is exceptionally bright, with a raised saloon and a panoramic deckhouse offering a breathtaking view of the water. The layout favors simplicity and efficiency, with plenty of functional storage space and easily accessible plumbing and electrical systems under the floors.
The choice of bold colors (orange on the exterior and yellow on the interior) gives the boat a unique personality, while emphasizing warm, welcoming comfort.
Aft, there's a double cabin on starboard, and a toilet on port, whose access lacks a bit of headroom. But this configuration can be modified if required, as the shipyard can offer a multitude of layout configurations.
