Web series / Stage victory for Hugo in the Clipper Round World Race

Wind, calm, waves, upwind, downwind In this episode, Hugo, The Sailing Frenchman, shares with us his leg of the Clipper Round Wolrd Race, which is rounding Australia via the south.

In this race the crews are amateurs and pay for their place on board. To ensure the smooth running of the boat, a skipper and a second (Hugo) are present. By filming the whole race, the Hugo race presents us the manoeuvres, the navigation and even the life on board in this 20 m sailing boat. We are just at the beginning of the year 2020. It will also be the occasion for the crew to spend a New Year's Eve at sea.

Whilst the previous stages had enabled the skipper/second duo to get a little better grounded and achieve better performance, this time on a wide option taking advantage of the current, the boat will be crossing the line for the first time in first position.

This episode is a feast for the eyes, as it takes us through all possible weather conditions and shows us the sail changes to adapt to the strength and direction of the wind. A real immersion in this cosmopolitan crew.
