Web series / Good start for Hugo, heading for the deep south

Hugo, The Sailing Frenchman shares the start of the second leg of the Clipper Round the World Race with us. A sailor's life on a race boat deciphered with maneuvering and strategic choices.

After waiting for Cape Town in South Africa, Hugo takes the start of the next stage. Course for Australia. This young French sailor is taking part in The Clipper Round the World Race, a crewed race where the crew members pay for their place to take part in the legs.

This time, half of the crew (8 people) is new on board. For the skipper and Hugo (the second on board), all these crew members have to take their marks and moor up without making any mistakes so as not to create any problems.

Before the start, Hugo looks back on his one-week stopover in Cape Town, a stopover which enabled him to quickly discover South Africa and above all to take an active part in the maintenance of the racing yacht.

An episode that gives us a big breath of air from the open sea with a formed sea, wind from the waves and manoeuvres.
