Web series / Last moments ashore before the start of the Clipper Round the World 2019

In the port of London, in the heart of the city, the Clipper Round the World sailboats are waiting for the start. The crews are busy making final preparations. Hugo, second in command of one of the competitors, describes these moments before the race.

Last week of preparations for Hugo who is starting the round the world race: the Clipper Round the World Race. A crewed race with a stopover on 70-foot one-design sailboats.

This last week consists of gathering the sailboats in London and taking on board the last supplies. A few paddling and some checks (especially on the rigging) to make sure that everything is working properly on board.

In this episode, Hugo still talks about animation on land and doesn't sail much. An introduction in the form of questions and answers provides a better understanding of how this rather special race works, since the crew members are actually fare-paying passengers.
