A cockpit for 4 passengers
Despite its small size, the Terhi 480C , which inherits the layout of the bowrider version, is organized like a larger boat, with an aft cockpit, a steering area and a forward cockpit.
There's a two-passenger bench in front of the outboard motor trough, under which the outboard motor feeder is located. In front are separate seats for the pilot and co-pilot, which can swivel aft. While the knees of 4 adults may rub a little, a family with children can face each other at anchor.

A real shelter for 2 to 4 people
A key feature of the Terhi 480C, the cabin offers real protection from the elements and sea spray for both pilot and co-pilot. Mounted on an aluminum frame screwed to the hull, it features attractive side windows, and a 3-piece front windshield providing 360-degree visibility.

A sliding composite sunroof provides both ventilation and a little extra headroom in fine weather. Indeed, while the Scandinavian yard's imposing representative could sit upright in the cab, his preferred driving position was to stand with the roof open and his head out of the cab!

Like a bowrider, the console is split in two to allow access to the forward cockpit. On the port side, there's a pocket for the co-pilot, and on the starboard side, the instrument panel, with its steering wheel and 9-inch multifunction display - a more than reasonable size for a boat only 4.80 m long.

Through the two-part central door, you enter the small forward cockpit. A bench seat is available, with optional cushions. However, you'll want to avoid sitting there underway, to stay dry and keep the boat properly trimmed.

Equipment and storage to make the most of your anchorage
Between the lockers in the forepeak, the one under the aft bench seat, the small anchor locker forward and the two side lockers aft for storing hawsers, without even having to remove them from the cleats, the Terhi 480C optimizes storage space.

Ready to install, the aft Bimini, mounted on a clever sliding hoop, completely encloses the stern of the boat.

When the weather's right, the stern ladder is a pleasure to use at anchor, even if it's close to the engine.

The finish remains simple, but we appreciate Terhi's attention to detail, such as the rubber fender all around the boat, the well-positioned handrails or the small step in front of the cabin to facilitate access on board or above the cabin.
