Distributed in France by Honda Marine and built in Sicily by the Altamarea shipyard, the 4XC HA20 is a 5.90 m semi-rigid designed to offer comfort and dynamism in a compact format. With two large sunbathing areas, a nimble hull and a maximum engine output of 100 hp, it offers an affordable alternative for outings with family or friends. We tested it on the Etang de Thau in established winds to assess its performance and behavior.

With the HA20, Honda Marine completes its offer in the strategic segment of RIBs under 6 meters. Positioned at under ?35,000 with a BF100 engine, this compact model features a clever deck layout and simple yet functional ergonomics. Designed for coastal cruising, Mediterranean anchorage and water sports, it combines transportability, user-friendliness and honest performance for its category.

The fruit of Altamarea's expertise and a solid partnership with Honda Marine, the 4XC HA20 boasts a competitive price/performance ratio in the face of stiff competition. We took the helm in realistic conditions to judge its sailing qualities, onboard comfort and its place in the family RIB market.
