Test / Maio 1400: Fanale Marine enters the maxi tire league

Built in Corsica by Fanale Marine, the Maio 1400 is a 13.30 m RIB that marks the island shipyard's entry into the maxi-pneumatic cruising category. With its Hypalon floats, 8 tons, category B certification and maximum engine power of 1,100 hp, it is an ocean-going unit capable of accommodating up to 18 passengers. Equipped with a vast hardtop, a modular cockpit and a fully-equipped cabin, it is as much a day cruiser as a Mediterranean cruiser. We tested it off Cannes in 30 knots of wind to assess its behavior and comfort.
