Two versions of the same model
The Bénéteau Flyer 8 is an open hull measuring 8.17 m long and 2.53 m wide, available in two versions: Sundeck and Spacedeck. Both models share the same cockpit, and the stern of the boats is identical right down to the console.
The Spacedeck version, with its open hull and open foredeck, is designed for a more versatile and sporty program, with an emphasis on fishing. The Sundeck version is designed for a more family-oriented program, with a cabin under the foredeck and a sundeck above.

Both models retain the hull of the first Flyer 8s launched in 2018. The shipyard has chosen to retain the hull featuring AirStep" technology for its good behaviour at sea "as Michaël Guinet, Bénéteau's outboard powerboat product manager, explains. The deck has been totally redesigned, but still with the aim of being a family dayboat.

A spacious cockpit shared by both models
Access to the cockpit is via a side passage to port. The fixed aft bench seat features a tilting backrest for sunbathing. The BIB is stored under the bench. Two folding seats, with backrests installed on the handrails, are positioned in the bulwarks, whose height has been increased compared to previous models. A removable central polyester table completes the saloon space. The two seats in the cockpit swivel to face aft, increasing the number of people around the table. The latter feature a flip-up seat for standing driving.

The steering console is based on the Flyer 9 and features a 12-inch navigation screen. The styling has been slightly revised with windshield returns. The windscreen provides good protection during piloting, and features a reassuring handrail. A polyester T-top is positioned above the console, with LEDs for night lighting.

The sundeck version with a decked foredeck
The Sundeck version features the same Smart Walkaround concept as the Flyer 8 and 10. The side decks are asymmetrical and more recessed than before, especially on the port side. The foredeck features a sunbathing area with a 1.90 m-long folding backrest. A stainless-steel balcony, complete with dolphin, ensures the safety of the bow. Thanks to this decked foredeck, the Flyer 8 Sundeck has a spacious cabin with a refrigerator at companionway level, a U-shaped saloon with a table, convertible into a double berth, and a toilet.

The Spacedeck version with a deck saloon on the foredeck
On the Flyer 8 Spacedeck, there's just a space used as a toilet. The foredeck features a console seat and a U-shaped bench seat at the bow. A cushion links the two seats, creating a sunbathing area.

Options for different programs
All stainless steel models are available in matt black or chrome finish. It is also possible to install a roll bar for towing water skis or buoys, or a livewell at the rear of the cockpit with a folding bench seat for fishing. A bow and stern bimini are easily installed by attaching to the T-top, and feature dedicated storage.

Several motorization options
The maximum 350 hp outboard motor is framed by attractive swim skirts. The Flyer 8 is also available with a 250 hp package.
