Ferretti Infynito 80, a comfortable, bright layout

The Infynito line is already an invitation to travel

With the Infynito 80, Ferretti seeks to abolish the difference between exterior and interior. As a result, the yacht offers a vast living area, bathed in light, as we see in this second section.

Access to the interior is via beautiful sliding doors. In its desire to make the difference between inside and outside as seamless as possible, this living room benefits from very large bay windows that reach down almost to the floor. The light ceiling and sobriety of the furnishings further accentuate the notion of space.

Here again, furnishings are at the customer's discretion, with our test model featuring a sofa on each edge and a dining table further forward. The latter can also be replaced by a bar.

Four comfortable cabins and a small galley

Moving forward, we leave the staircase to the cabins on the starboard side, and another staircase to the inner cockpit on the port side, to which we'll return later.

The last part of this main deck is dedicated to the galley. A rather small space for an 80-foot unit that can accommodate 8 to 10 guests. With little storage space and few work surfaces, the chef will have to use his imagination to prepare a meal worthy of the name in such conditions. The only good thing about this space is the side door that opens directly onto the catwalk, which is very practical.

With its emphasis on open-air living, the Infynito 80 is nonetheless a comfortable cruiser designed for long-distance cruising. The lower deck features four cabins, each with its own private bathroom, for a total of eight guests. Unsurprisingly, these cabins feature the same sobriety as the rest of the boat, with simple, modern lines. The VIP cabin is located on the bow, and features long portholes on each side, with an atmosphere echoing that of the all-weather terrace on the upper deck. It offers plenty of storage space, a closet and a good-sized bathroom.

On the port side, the middle cabin has a double berth and a bathroom, while on the starboard side, the cabin was fitted with a bathroom and two single beds, but this is modular.

A full-beam owner's cabin

That leaves the owner's cabin, located more or less amidships, which takes advantage of the full beam of the ship. In addition to a king-size bed, there's a corner sofa extending into a contemporary-style desk/dressing table. The port side features a large bathroom with separate w.c. and shower, as well as a cabinet with two washbasins. This bathroom can also be closed off thanks to two semi-transparent sliding doors. Another plus point is the abundance of storage space, both under the bed and cleverly concealed in the walls. What's also striking is the number of mirrors present in this night area, a choice that allows light to be optimally reflected.

Finally, the crew quarters are located between the engine room and the master cabin, isolating the latter from extraneous noise. This cabin can accommodate two to three crew members, who share a bathroom, and has its own entrance from the main deck.

In addition to their well-thought-out design, these cabins benefit from serious construction, with quality materials, well-constructed frames and efficient lighting. The equipment is also quite comprehensive, and should of course be determined at the time of purchase. All in all, the finish is beyond reproach, apart from the few details inherent in a boat that has just left the factory.

The shipyard offers two on-board ambiances, Classic or Contemporary, depending on the customer's tastes, and many elements can be customized.
