With the Infynito line, the Italian shipyard Ferreti wanted to offer a yacht that would be fast while maintaining the brand's high standards of comfort and respect for the environment. The idea was also to offer a boat with " visual continuity between inside and outside "in the manufacturer's own words.
A philosophy unveiled on the 90 and largely taken up on the Infynito 80, whose name incorporates the Ferretti Yachts "FY" and underlines the boat's integration into its environment, with an "infinite" view of the sea.

The project is the fruit of collaboration between the shipyard team headed by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group's engineering department, naval architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior, and Ideaitalia for the interior design.
A boat designed to respect the environment
With the Infynito series, Ferretti is resolutely committed to an ecological approach. The Infynito 80 is equipped with F.S.E.A. (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture) technology, which comprises a series of elements focused on sustainable development and respect for the environment. These include a fast-moving hull optimized for energy efficiency, the use of eco-friendly materials (natural fabrics, bamboo, regenerated leather, recyclable materials, eco-friendly water-based paints, FSC 5-certified teak) and a system that stores the solar energy collected by the solar panels. These are installed on the hard top and on the roof of the all-weather terrace.
A design inspired by Explorer yachts
In terms of aesthetics, the Infynito 80 takes up the ideas of its big brother, with a line reminiscent of exploration ships, but a more elaborate profile than the first model, notably in the side superstructures which, while supporting the outside deck, create a gangway, the very symbol of long-distance cruising.

The stern, very wide open thanks to a huge hydraulic bathing platform, features a large seat facing the sea, even before you reach the cockpit. A real invitation to contemplate, or a convivial space to relax and enjoy the nautical activities at the stern of the boat.
Four steps lead up to the cockpit. The spacious cockpit includes a corner sofa, an armchair and a coffee table, but can of course be adapted to the owner's wishes, with the addition of a table.
An "all-weather" terrace to enjoy the great outdoors in comfort
The flybridge is also easily accessed from the cockpit. This is undeniably one of the key points of this boat, since it represents more than half the length of the Infynito 80. This generous surface area accommodates two long sofas, a large table for meals with family and friends, and a real outdoor kitchen with grill, sink, fridge and freezer. The entire layout is covered by a hard-top that accommodates solar panels in addition to lights and radar antennas.
The aft section of this flybridge is home to three individual sunbeds with flip-up heads for maximum comfort. Once again, this space can be arranged according to the owner's desires, and we can also imagine a large, unique solarium or a place to store a toy.

Last but not least, the exterior helm station is located on the starboard side. It's very complete, offering optimal visibility. On the other hand, the windshield is not very effective, so this cockpit is best reserved for sunny days. For cooler or wetter days, the Infynito is fortunately equipped with a second cockpit, just a few steps below. Ideally located, this cockpit is sheltered from the elements, but also from the sun, a real plus. More complete than the one on the flybridge, it houses three 24" screens and a well-thought-out instrument panel. There's a good view both forward and to the sides, and just in case, you can always use the cameras.

While the foredeck is becoming more and more of an amenity on yachts, Ferretti, with the Infynito series, has gone much further, covering the foredeck to create what the shipyard calls an "all-weather terrace". The result is a covered space with wide side openings and a large front window, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding scenery unhindered by sun or rain, while still enjoying a relatively private space. For added brightness, the roof features a section with slatted blinds that can be opened more or less according to the desired light intensity. There's also a long seat with a table that can be split in two, and a large, comfortable lounge area for two. Sitting comfortably on the cushions, you literally feel like you're in a cocoon without being cut off from the outside world. The icing on the cake is that the window separating the forward cockpit from the galley can be lowered electrically, so all you have to do is wait for cocktails.
