Test / Zar 130 Imagine : Prices and options

Our final test of the Zar Imagine 130 ends with a comparison of the competition and the various options and prices offered by the shipyard.

A top-of-the-range rate

We had the opportunity to test the fully equipped Zar 130 Imagine. The shipyard has taken on a luxurious positioning for its largest model, which has been carefully fitted out, and some equipment that was previously standard has become optional. Thus, our model is priced at about 1 million euros (including taxes).

As is often the case with this type of high-end boat, the degree of customization, the materials and the choice of equipment mean that manufacturers do not communicate much in the way of price lists and precise option catalogs.

Similar models from Italian competitors

The competition includes several shipyards, all Italian, such as Sacs, Lomac and Capelli with its Stradivarius, a luxurious model that we had already tested . The shipyards deliver few units of these models, which are both the top of their range and the showcase of their know-how. As a result, each boat comes with different equipment for each owner, and prices can therefore change.

While it is difficult to make detailed comparisons, a few figures can be cited for comparison purposes.

At Sacs, the Rebel 40 with its 12.32 m has a similar design, with a hard-top in the extension of the windshield and two double berths. From Lomac, the Granturismo 14.0 with an overall length of 13.70 m starts at 500,000 euros (excluding VAT) without engines. Finally, the Capelli Stradivari, the shipyard's top-of-the-range model, has a standard price of 650,000 euros (excluding tax) without engine.
