Priced at around 32,000 Âeuros with a Honda BF100 engine, the 4XC H19CC is positioned as the entry-level model in the Honda 4XC range. But unlike many entry-level boats, it features meticulous Italian construction, a Japanese engine of proven reliability and an uncompromising turnkey package. A refined positioning that places it between the mass-produced units and the small premium open boats on the European market.

A competitive introductory price for a small marine boat

At ?32,000 with the BF100, the H19CC enters the small 5.50 m open boat price bracket, a highly competitive segment that includes the Jeanneau Leader 5.5, Quicksilver 555, Bénéteau Flyer 6 SUNdeck and Bayliner Element E5.

The BF40 (40 hp) version, a little light for family use, keeps the price under ?30,000, a symbolic threshold for first-time buyers. The BF115, offered on the higher versions, pushes the bill up to ?36,000 to ?38,000, while retaining its mechanical and economic coherence.

Competitive positioning: intermediate but solid

On the market, the H19CC is positioned between the mass-produced French models and the more luxurious Nordic units.

Compared to the Leader 5.5 CC, offered at around ?33,000 with a Yamaha 100 hp engine in front, the Honda BF100 boasts a more polished finish and an engine guaranteed for up to 10 years, a unique selling point in this category.

Compared to a Quicksilver 555 Activ, it's sportier, more seaworthy, and benefits from better weight distribution thanks to its stepped hull.

The more spacious but also more expensive Bénéteau Flyer 6 SPACE deck exceeds ?40,000 for an equivalent package, while the Bayliner Element E5 remains more affordable.

The Honda 4XC H19CC doesn't aim to break the bank, but to offer real technical content and quality for a reasonable price.
The choice of the Ranieri yard ensures a quality of lamination and assembly superior to entry-level standards.

An economic argument: Honda sobriety

Beyond the purchase price, it's the running costs that set the H19CC apart. The Honda BF100 engine, renowned for its sobriety, consumes around 16 l/h at 23 knots. It's easy to maintain, the parts are readily accessible, and the reliability of the block has been proven for years on numerous models. The extended ten-year warranty for private customers, a first on the market, further enhances the product's perceived value.

A boat built to last

The H19CC's other strong point is its durability. Ranieri's manufacturing quality, already praised on superior models, is fully reflected on this hull. Longitudinal reinforcements, meticulous lamination and gelcoat finishes guarantee resistance over time, even with regular use in salty environments.

This attention to detail also translates into ease of maintenance. Smooth surfaces, watertight trunks and stainless steel fittings limit traces and corrosion. The boat ages well, both aesthetically and mechanically, and retains good value on the second-hand market â?" an important consideration for a first-time buyer.
