The Libecciu 1000, an almost 10-meter semi-rigid designed and built entirely in Corse-du-Sud, is aimed at fast cruising and coastal sailing with a family crew. Its deep hull, uncluttered deck layout and 2 x 350 hp reflect a quest for efficiency and comfort at sea. Well positioned in relation to the competition, the Libecciu 1000 aims to rival the Italian benchmarks in the segment, while asserting a strong Mediterranean identity.

The Libecciu 1000 illustrates Fanale Marine's move towards more seaworthy, more versatile boats. This comprehensive test report is divided into four sections.

The first looks back at the genesis of the project and the boat's program, tracing the builder's approach and the philosophy that guided the design of this semi-rigid.
The second details the layout and deck plan, with its emphasis on ergonomics, traffic flow and on-board usability.
The third reports on the sea trial carried out off the Bouches de Bonifacio, to measure sailing behavior, performance and comfort.
Finally, the fourth section analyzes the Libecciu 1000's price positioning in relation to its direct competitors in the ten-meter category.
