The Fanale Marine Libecciu 1000 enters the ten-metre semi-rigid segment with a measured price positioning. With its blend of local craftsmanship and solid performance, the Corsican shipyard is in direct confrontation with the market benchmarks.

Today, the 10-meter RIB market is home to most of the major players in the Mediterranean marine industry. Italian boat builders have long been at the forefront of this market, while other European manufacturers are stepping up their offerings in this strategic niche.

A segment dominated by the big names

The ten-metre RIB segment today features several major players. Italian shipyards such as BSC and SeaWater have a long-standing presence, while European industrial brands, starting with Zodiac, are stepping up their presence with new-generation models.

In this context, Fanale Marine stands out for its regional roots and artisanal approach to construction. The aim is not mass production, but to offer a coherent, high-performance RIB designed for the Mediterranean.

A restrained pricing strategy

Priced at 116,000 euros without engine, the Libecciu 1000 is slightly below the average price of competing RIBs.

The Zodiac Medline X10 CC, which has just arrived on the market, retails for around 129,000 euros excluding engines, but with a more comprehensive standard equipment package, including top-of-the-range upholstery, electric windlass, cockpit table and refrigerator.

Opposite it, the BSC 100 GT (?119,400) and SeaWater Phantom 300 (?122,400) remain close in philosophy: fast hulls, meticulous finishes and full equipment.

The Brig Eagle 10 (?126,500) retains a more family-oriented approach, with superior on-board comfort but a slightly lower top speed.

A choice of equipment à la carteFanale Marine's basic equipment is limited. Owners compose their boats according to their needs: family, professional or sporting.

The absence of an electric windlass, stern table or deck shower in the standard version may come as a surprise, but this choice enables us to maintain an attractive introductory price and adapt the boat to different markets (pleasure or charter).

The Zodiac Medline X10 CC, on the other hand, is based on the opposite strategy: to offer a "turnkey" package ready to sail, with premium finishes and integrated furniture from the very first version.

Price advantage for Libecciu

The Libecciu 1000 retains a 5-10% price advantage over the category average, for performance at the top end of the market.

The Zodiac Medline X10 CC boasts a more industrial finish and generous standard equipment, while the BSC 100 GT and SeaWater Phantom 300 highlight their dynamic handling and offshore certification.

In contrast, the Corsican model remains the most accessible proposition, favoring the sea and simplicity of maintenance over the sophistication of the furnishings.
