The Sail Tender 280 is a multi-purpose inflatable tender. Designed for both power and sail, it can be used for a variety of purposes, from transport between anchorage and shore to light sailing.
An inflatable dinghy convertible into a sailboat
The principle is based on rapid transformation. In less than ten minutes, the tender goes from a classic configuration to a full rig.

The kit includes a four-section mast, removable boom, 4.8 m² sail, centreboard and lifting rudder. The daggerboard well and mast root are removable, allowing you to keep the deck clear in tender mode.

With a total kit weight of 7.6 kg, the unit is easy to transport and compatible with on-board storage.
A compact platform for mooring
At 2.88 m long and 1.50 m wide, the Sail Tender 280 is a classic cruising tender. The 40 cm-diameter floats provide buoyancy, distributed over three watertight compartments.

Its weight of 27 kg makes it easy to handle, especially when launching from a bridge or gantry. Inflating pressure of 0.25 bar corresponds to the standards of tenders in this segment.
The advertised capacity is for four people, with a maximum engine output of 6 hp in internal combustion mode.
A simple deck layout for mixed use
The basic equipment includes six towing rings, two oars, a pump and a repair kit. The set is completed by a storage bag for transport and storage.

In sail configuration, the cockpit remains uncluttered. Flip-up appendages make it easy to approach beaches and shallow waters.

The deck layout remains deliberately simple, with no complex fittings, to limit handling.

Discovery-oriented use and light navigation
The Sail Tender 280 is designed for short trips. Under sail, it can be used for day trips from an anchorage, and is easy to handle. For sailors, it offers an alternative to the classic tender by adding a sailing dimension. For younger sailors, it's a great introduction to sailing.
