A walkaround deck plan and a well protected cockpit
The 470 Regina is a 15 m long and 4.40 m wide walkaround motorboat. It is equipped with a beautiful hydraulic bathing platform with lifting system to embark a tender for example. It offers the possibility to install a deck shower.
At the stern, the bulwarks extend sideways to provide a large deck area above the sea. The sundeck facing out to sea is divided into two parts that can be moved by the folding bulwarks. The engine compartment houses two Volvo IPS 650s with 2 x 480 hp as standard. An outboard version with three or four 425 hp Yamaha engines is also available. Numerous storage compartments are present throughout the exterior.
The cockpit is very well protected by a large windshield with side lapels, with a sliding door on the starboard side allowing access to the catwalk. A rigid and structural hard-top protects the cockpit. A U-shaped saloon at the stern shares the back of the sun deck. It has a table that folds out and faces the wetbar.
A very nice driving area
The cockpit is impressive in its size. It has a dashboard with all the latest electronics, including two 17-inch Raymarine screens. The tinted windshield provides protection for the pilot. It has three comfortable pilot seats.
An optional modular front deck
The bow is accessible from the side decks, well protected by a good height of bulwarks on the back, reduced at the front. It has a large balcony. In this space, the innovative layout allows once again, as an option, to divide the sundeck in two. The space thus created brings light into the cabin below via the deck hatch. The deck hatch can also be transformed into a small flooded area for cooling off or be equipped with a dining table.
Corrado Piccinelli, commercial director of the yard, explains: "There are two living areas to be able to eat both forward and aft. When we tie up butt to dock, we can sit quietly at the bow while being protected from view."
A luxurious and spacious interior
Inside, at the edge of the companionway, we discover a cabinet with a refrigerator and a microwave. This central area links the two beautiful double cabins located at the bow and in the center of the boat. The headroom of 2.15 m is a real comfort and the light abounds via the hull portholes. At the bow, the forward cabin can be configured according to the owner's wishes and has its own private bathroom with shower and toilet, with direct access, as well as a vanity area.
In the center, the second cabin offers an original layout with a bed positioned on the diagonal and easily accessible from each side. To starboard, a corner sofa and a dressing table or a straight sofa complete the cabin. The access to the bathroom is direct and the glass shower serves as a transparent partition between the shower room and the cabin.
Optional 3rd cabin and quality finishes
A configuration with 3 cabins is also proposed by the shipyard by reducing the front cabin and removing the vanity area.
The materials used for the furnishings are of good quality, the finishes are meticulous with beautiful veneers, sought-after woods, marble finishesâ?¦
