In this second part, let's take a look at how this icon of the American market has evolved. While the Boston Whaler 250 Dauntless remains an open hull dedicated to fishing, it incorporates a number of improvements that make it more family-friendly and upscale.

The bow has been given special treatment, with greater comfort and a more family-oriented configuration than on the previous generation. You can see that on the U-shaped seat with flip-up backrests on either side. It can also be converted into a sunbathing area. The anchor locker is a good size, but the davit is only available as an option.

At the stern, you'll find the famous folding seats which, when closed, form a fishing platform. However, they have been upgraded with a higher backrest. Between these two seats, the 250 Dauntless benefits from a good size livewell, while the stern features two bathing platforms, one with a swimming ladder.

A look more and more premium

Behind the console, pilot and co-pilot enjoy a comfortable seat with a leaning-post position, while the aft part of this seat features a storage cabinet with three drawers. This configuration can also be modified at the time of ordering, for example, to install more seats.

The same flexibility applies to the T-Top, which is not standard, but available in three different versions.

The equipment also introduces some very useful accessories such as the non-slip mat on the top of the console, the wireless charger for your smartphone and the LED lighting in the console and certain storage compartments.

As a Boston Whaler, the build quality is simply remarkable, and the manufacturer has clearly wanted to give the boat a premium appearance. Then there are the options, and once again, if you can't find what you need, you're in trouble, because the 250 Dauntless is eligible for an incredible list of accessories and customization features.
