Dominique Salandre grew up in Mer, a city name that can't be invented for a nautical journalist. After starting out in 1993 with a number of contributions to the nautical press, Dominique became editor-in-chief of Pneumatique Magazine in 1997. In 2005, he was one of the founders of Hors-Bord Magazine, before becoming editor-in-chief of Youboat in 2012. He is also the author of several books published by Editions Vagnon, and has contributed to a number of television programs dedicated to boating. Now based in the United States, Dominique writes for several magazines in Europe and around the world, and is also developing his YouTube channel. By joining the Bateaux.com team, he intends to use his experience and knowledge of international boating to help readers discover all the facets of the nautical world.
