Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing : Discover the peaceful islands of Charente-Maritime

In this new episode of Nomad Citizen Sailing, parents, friends and children continue to discover the Charente-Maritime, and more particularly the island of Aix, a destination accessible only by sea, where cars have no place.

Daniela, Marvin and their granddaughter Tara continue to discover the surroundings of La Rochelle, where friends have joined them for the holidays. After exploring the city in the previous episode.. They take us with them on a tour of the famous Fort Boyard located near the island of Aix, formerly a prison and now the location of a famous television show.

Then direction the island of Aix, a small island of 129 hectares where you can only move around on foot, by bike or in a horse-drawn carriage. A quiet and very natural island that reminds them of the peace and quiet they feel when they live on board their sailboat.

It is by bike that they enjoy discovering the pleasures of this peaceful island: visiting forts, strolling along the coast and tasting oysters.

But all good things must come to an end, and their friends must return to La Rochelle as their holidays come to an end. This return to the pontoons will be the occasion for a convivial evening with neighbours, tasting rum in the cockpit.

The next day, it's time to put their daily life back in order: big cleaning and especially resuming sports for Daniela and Marvin while Tara has created a small playground on the pontoons, transforming a bucket into a swimming pool.
