Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing finally discovers Brittany!

Leaving from the South of France, Daniela, Marvin and their granddaughter Tara had the first objective to reach Brittany but the sanitary crisis and the confinement will have decided otherwise. It is thus after a long journey of several months that they finally reach the goal! One week to discover the Gulf of Morbihan.

After the Ile d'Yeu, Daniela, Marvin, Tara and their friend Matthieu went back to the pontoons of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie for the installation of their bowsprit. Formerly their Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 473 was not equipped with one. So they had this custom-made equipment made, in order to come and install their headsail, which will replace the spinnaker they have never been able to use.

After a sports session and a last evening with their friend, they head for Brittany in the early morning. After a beautiful day of sailing in the sun, between idleness, fishing and dolphins, they finally see the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan.

What a consecration for the family, of which Brittany was normally the first destination?! They were supposed to spend the whole summer there, but the confinement had decided otherwise. So it was in Quiberon that they anchored their boat, since the next day they would be picking up friends for a week-long visit to the islands: Houat, Hoëdic and Belle-Île-en-Mer.
