Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing, life at anchor on Nomad Citizen

In this new episode of Nomad Citizen Sailing, Daniela, Marvin and Tara leave the port of La Rochelle after spending several weeks there. They share with us their way of life on board.

It's time to leave the port of La Rochelle - more precisely the Bassin des Chalutiers - for the crew of Nomad Citizen. But before the departure - which will have to take place in the evening to wait for the high tide and the opening of the lock - Daniela, Tara and Marvin leave for a last walk ashore, and visit the La Rochelle museum and its old rigging.

After only 45 minutes of sailing, it is at anchor in front of the Ile de Ré that they spend the night. A tiring night for Marvin who had to spend his time reviewing the mooring on the dead body.

After a nap for Daddy and a coffee and drawing session for Daniela and Tara, a long program awaits them. First an interview for Bénéteau - Nomad Citizen is a Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 473 - whose making off they share with us, then a bit of DIY, the diesel filter of the dinghy engine having given up the ghost.

With these requirements fulfilled, it is on the Ile de Ré that they indulge in their favourite activity - sport - by finding the right compromise: outdoor facilities for the couple and a playground for their little girl.

In this video you will also discover their choice of the Oceanis Clipper 473 to live on board.

Then it will be time to weigh anchor to continue their journey towards Brittany, with a next stopover in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
