Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing : Mast climbing for Marvin

For several weeks, Daniela, Marvin and their little daughter Tara have been criss-crossing the Gulf of Morbihan to discover its many islands. On the programme of this stopover, a climb to the top of the mast for Marvin.

The crew of Nomad Citizen Sailing continues to head north to Brest, their final destination for this first sailing season. After disembarking their friends in Quiberon, and picking up another couple of friends who are crossing France by bike, it's in Locmiquélic, on the roadstead of Lorient that they make a stopover to carry out some repairs on their boat.

If throughout their journey they were able to enjoy a nice weather, it is a real Breton weather that welcomes them this time. And when you're on a boat and it's raining, you still have to keep busy. So it will be pizza and beer for the adults and painting for Tara.

Before reaching Brest, Marvin has to climb the mast to make some repairs. An ascent guided by Daniela, helped by the electric winch, which does not please little Tara, crying to see her daddy climb so high.

Checking report: two bulbs need to be changed and the little family can set sail again, for a final sail towards Brest.
