Web series / La Vivacia is moving. Transport of a shipyard during manufacture

The construction of the Vivacia, a Beg Meil on a François Vivier design, has been on stand-by for 6 months. On the occasion of a move, Lucas explains the reasons for this silence and lets us imagine what to do next.

Lucas has started building a streap planking sailboat. The overturned hull of its Beg Meil (a François Vivier plan) is beginning to take shape, the small slats, carefully adjusted and glued one by one, are gradually installed on each side of the hull . Only for 6 months, all summer 2019, Lucas has not given any news...

This new episode of the construction of La Vivacia explains the reasons for this silence. There are many of them. Indeed, during the summer Lucas moved out of the city and into the countryside. A larger house that will allow him to accommodate the growing family, but also to set up a larger workshop in an outbuilding.

Who says house, says house, says installation work and it is just before his little boy's return to school that he was able to integrate this new home. It was therefore necessary to move the workshop and especially the boatyard.

With the help of 6 friends, Lucas took the boat to a workshop (for the moment temporary) under the house. He will therefore be able to resume the construction and make us live these moments again.
