The Perron 7.50 m is a compact, high-performance offshore sailing yacht that can also be transported by road. The design, developed for Ateliers Pirghaye in Belgium, is based on CP-epoxy construction
CP-epoxy construction for intensive use
The hull adopts a multi-chine epoxy plywood structure, combined with a fiberglass outer skin. The result is a rigid, low-weight unit, with a light displacement of 1400 kg.

Wood is sourced from sustainably managed forests. The exterior stratification protects the hull and limits routine maintenance.
With a width of 2.80 m, the Perron 7.50 m is compatible with road transport. Two keel options are available. A fixed keel with a draught of 1.65 m, or a lifting keel offering a variable draught from 0.50 m to 1.65 m.

This second configuration facilitates access to shallow areas and simplifies launching. Ballast is announced at 475 kg.
A sail plan geared to "accessible performance
The Perron 7.50 m has a simplified rig, with a sail area of 38.6 m² upwind. The asymmetric spinnaker reaches 70 m², installed on a folding bowsprit.

The overall aim is responsive sailing, suitable for both regattas and day trips. The hull, inspired by today's standards, is designed for performance compatible with IRC-type gauges.
The double lifting rudder accompanies this wide hull aft, with control maintained downwind.
A clear cockpit and rational layouts
The deck layout favors simplicity. The cockpit is wide, with 1.90 m bench seating and marked coamings to protect the crew. The engine is a 5-8 hp outboard, a common solution on this type of unit to limit weight and simplify maintenance.

The interior offers four berths, including a double berth. The space includes a galley, a chart table with electronic zone and a toilet. Headroom reaches 1.50 m in the standard version, and 1.75 m with a raised coachroof. The layout remains compact, in keeping with the size of the boat and its program.
The Perron 7.50 m is designed for mixed use, between day cruising, racing and short cruising, with an architecture designed for ease of operation and transport.
