Flyer 10 is a smart walkaround concept

The Flyer 10

The largest model in the Flyer range and the largest outboard of the Bénéteau shipyard is at the crossroads between a dayboat and a sport-cruiser. With its off-centre console to starboard, access to the foredeck is via an asymmetrical port passage.

The Vendée Bénéteau shipyard is expanding its Flyer range. A few months after the launch of the Flyer 8, the Flyer 10 will enrich the range from the top. At the junction between the dayboat and the express-cruiser, this 9.63 m model is a smart walkaround. That is, it is easy to travel on board, but with only one asymmetrical port passage, which makes it possible to better exploit the deck area and cabin volume.

The largest outboard of the shipyard can accommodate on board and contains a main cabin and a mid-cabin under the deck to spend several nights on board. Its bathroom with separate shower brings even more comfort on board.

On deck, the cockpit plays on modularity with the possibility of changing from a large saloon to a large solarium, thanks in particular to the tilting rear bench seat. On starboard, the galley has all the necessary equipment for preparing meals on board: fridge, sink, double gas burners, storage space and a small work surface. A rigid T-top or bimini can be installed to protect the space.

The off-centre console on starboard has two bolster seats, while a double bench seat on port side allows two other people to enjoy the navigation, well protected behind the full width windscreen with side returns.

At the rear, the bathing platform looks large - despite the double outboards - and we should be able to move around on both sides of the two engines and even be able to install a barbecue on the deck. Access to the foredeck is via a door integrated into the windscreen where there is a large three-seater sunbathing area.

With its 2x350 HP and its Airstep 2 hull (patented by Bénéteau), the yard ensures a fast lift-off and a top speed of 44 knots.

The new Flyer 10 will be on display in Düsseldorf from 19 to 27 January 2019.
