Boston Whaler 380 Outrage, a fishing that is suitable for fishermen and families

The 380 Outrage, new for 2017

Boston Whaler continues to expand its Outrage line with the arrival of a new 11.58m model, the 380 Outrage. This 2017 model brings the Outrage range to 9 references, and is sandwiched between the 370 Outrage (11.4 m) and the largest model, the 420 Outrage (13 m). This new boat will be presented at the next Cannes Yachting Festival (September 2017).

This Fishing is perfectly adapted to sport fishing at sea, like the rest of the range. But it will also be suitable for pleasure boating and family gatherings, and covers a wide range of water activities, as Jeff Vaughn, vice president of sales, marketing and customer service at Boston Whaler explains "The boat is remarkable in the way it suits a variety of activities, it serves as a platform for deep-sea fishing, as a pleasure boat, or as a yacht tender."

Many technological features are present on board this new model:

  • remote connectivity through Whaler Watch, an optional satellite system that provides 24/7 security.
  • The Seekeaper gyrostatic system which considerably reduces roll.
  • Dual navigation screens equipped with the latest Raymarine navigation technology, which allows control of the Bluetooth compatible stereo, as well as Mercury propulsion.

The 380 Outrage is equipped with three Mercury Verado engines (300 hp each as standard and up to 350 hp) with the Joystick option and its hull is designed for controlled, reliable and smooth sailing.

In terms of fishing equipment, this Fishing is equipped with a 227 litre livewell, large fish boxes on the floor, a well-equipped leaning-post, and rod holders strategically placed throughout the boat. A rigid hardtop protects the cockpit from the elements, which is equipped with air conditioning and three boslter seats with removable armrests for maximum comfort. A planking door also makes fishing trips easier.

The leaning-post can be replaced by an outdoor kitchen with an electric grill. In the cockpit, a new sea-facing couch is installed behind the centre console seats. There is also a large folding bench seat at the rear, as well as two other folding benches at the sides. Combined with a removable table, these benches transform the space into a saloon. An optional sun visor folds out from the hardtop to protect the entire cockpit.

On the foredeck, a stall allows you to enjoy maximum comfort and storage space with a saloon at the bow. Once again, a sunshade protects the space and the table (optional) can be lowered electrically to create a sunbathing area. At the bow of the console, the 380 Outrage also features a comfortable two-person seat that serves as the Boston Whaler's signature "bow garage" for storing diving equipment, life jackets, etc.

Below deck, there is an air-conditioned cabin with an enclosed shower room for more privacy. The saloon converts into a double berth to enjoy a night at sea. On the comfort side, there is also a sink, a mirror, a microwave and LED lights.
