Saxdor bets on artificial intelligence and unveils its new products at Cannes 2025

At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, Saxdor isn't just exhibiting its models. AI, digital technology and a new line of equipment complete its approach. A way of exploring navigation beyond the cockpit.

At the Port Canto in Cannes, Finnish shipyard Saxdor chose the 2025 edition of the Yachting Festival to showcase an evolution in its strategy. More than just models, it's a new way of accompanying the yachtsman that is taking shape, between digital tools and a lifestyle associated with sailing.

Artificial intelligence as the new crew member on board

One of the key announcements concerns the integration of an artificial intelligence platform. Already tested at the beginning of 2025 in Düsseldorf, this application will be available from September 2025 on several models, including the Saxdor 340 GTWA, 400 GTO, 400 GTC and 460 GTC.

Designed as a permanent companion, the AI guides the user in getting to grips with his boat, answering technical questions and facilitating maintenance procedures. For the boater, this means immediate access to interactive documentation, and greater autonomy during the first few sailings. It will gradually be integrated into the MySaxdor application, transforming the smartphone into a veritable on-board manual.

A digital showroom for boat configuration

The shipyard is also emphasizing the pre-purchase experience with a digital showroom accessible via its distributors. This immersive device enables visitors to view different configurations in 3D, compare options and anticipate the layout on board.

In practice, this approach responds to a market trend: buyers are increasingly looking to project themselves before signing, especially for 10 to 14-meter units. The digital showroom facilitates dialogue with the dealer, while reducing the time needed to choose options.

A construction site in full European expansion

Founded in 2019, Saxdor currently has two production sites: one in Poland, the other in Finland, recently opened in the Larsmo region. These facilities are located in an area with a strong shipbuilding tradition, reinforcing local know-how.

With over three thousand units produced since 2020 and around seven hundred boats delivered each year, Saxdor is one of the young, fast-growing shipyards in Europe. For yachtsmen, this guarantees a solid distribution network, with almost 150 sales outlets on five continents.

A textile collection designed for on-board use and stopovers

Another novelty highlighted at Cannes: the arrival of a textile and accessories collection. Inspired by the maritime and urban worlds, it includes lightweight garments for summer sailing, as well as stronger pieces for life on land.

This choice illustrates Saxdor's desire to accompany its customers beyond the time they spend at sea. For yachtsmen, it's less a question of fashion than of continuity of use: finding practical, hard-wearing textiles on board that can also be worn alongside the quayside.

Confirmed models await novelty

On the water at Cannes, Saxdor is exhibiting three flagship models from its range: the 320 GTO, the 340 GTWA and the 400 GTC. These models remain the yard's standard-bearers, pending the forthcoming announcement of a new boat, the launch of which is still being kept secret.
