Test / Visit aboard the Navan S30: comfortable accommodations for a 30-foot hull

The Navan S30 offers great features on a hull measuring just 10.23m. The crew can enjoy a beautiful saloon on the aft deck, a double cabin and a large sundeck on the foredeck.

An inviting rear lounge

Easy access to the boat via the aft deck. The Navan doesn't have an accommodation door for long-side mooring. A three-seater bench seat is installed in front of the engine, and benefits from well-positioned handrails. The removable table is designed to seat 6. It can be stored in a dedicated space under the rear bench.

The center block is highly modular. The bench seat tilts lengthwise, and can be used either in the direction of travel, or aft, to create an attractive deck saloon. This module also houses the outdoor kitchen, which is a little simplistic but will suffice to prepare a summer lunch.

Numerous trunks are distributed throughout the Navan S30. Opening them is sometimes complicated by the presence of cushions, which must be removed to access the entire trunk.

The optional T-Top is well made, and allows shade cloths to be attached to both the front and rear.

One double cabin and one toilet

Access to the cabin is via a sliding door to the right of the center console. An attractive double berth and a washroom provide an extra level of comfort for a weekend on board. But the Navan S30's main program is not based on coastal cruising.

The toilet is located on the port side, just below the companionway. Quite conventional, it is equipped with a toilet and washbasin, all integrated into a shower tray.

A front beach with a large sunbathing area

The foredeck has a large sundeck. To improve cabin headroom, this foredeck is a little higher than the rest of the deck.

Comfortable headrests are integrated into the sunbathing area, which can accommodate two adults.

At the forepeak, the anchor locker is topped by an optional dolphin shelter. This facilitates disembarkation from the bow, without detracting from the Navan S30's sleek lines.
