Test / Navan S30: a new sports open that benefits from the Brunswick Group's know-how

The arrival of a new brand on the market is an unusual event. The first models of the Navan brand, the S30 and C30, have benefited from the expertise acquired within the various subsidiaries of the Brunswick Group. The results are promising, and offer significant advantages for a successful position in a competitive segment.

One hull, two deck plans

On the same step hull, the Brunswick Group has adapted two different deck plans to suit different programs. The S30 features an "open" deck layout, with T-Top and walk-around circulation. This is in contrast to its cousin, the C30, which features a wheelhouse housing the helm station and an interior galley.

Sylvain Perret, head of marketing for this new brand, gives us an overview:

" This result is the outcome of two years of in-depth development and market analysis. It responds to explicit demand from both end customers and our dealers, who are looking for double-hulled boats with a low footprint, elegant design and high performance. This new offering should also help to reinforce the reputation of the Quicksilver brand by bringing it a new level of quality. "

Boats adapted to several sailing areas

With these two models with different characteristics, Navan adapts to the different needs of the European market, as Sylvain Perret explains:

" Our product range is designed to meet the diverse needs of boaters in Europe. The S30 version will be aimed primarily at Central Europe, Southern Europe and the Mediterranean, all important markets for Quicksilver. The C30 version, on the other hand, will be aimed more at the Nordic countries, such as Scandinavia and Poland. "

Increased competition

After a two-year development period for Navan, the Brunswick group is now entering a competitive sector, in which shipyards such as Axopar, Nimbus and Wellcraft are battling it out. While the first two remain family-owned, Wellcraft benefits from the know-how of the Beneteau group.
