Autumn Boat Show 2023: discover the new cruising multihulls

Here's a selection of sailing multihulls that you can discover for the first time at the Autumn 2023 boat shows. On the program: comfort, speed and space for family cruising or simply a stroll in the sun.

10.59 m - Ventio

The Ventio is a mini cruising catamaran . Lightweight, announced at 2.9 t, with 88 me of canvas, it should offer great performance. Note that this yacht can be completely dismantled and transported in 2 40-foot containers. Here, everything is minimalist: the only fittings, 2 double berths, are in the hulls. The nacelle is empty. But this type of 30-foot catamaran has disappeared from the market today. A good solution for fun, fast and safe cruising.

15.24 m - New Windelo 50

When it is launched in 2020, the Windelo 50 has shaken up the codes of cruising catamarans. With its forward helm station at the foot of the mast, open cockpit layout, solar-panel-covered deck and electric motorization, as well as its eco-responsible construction, this yacht has many charming features. It is back in a new version, with a more modern deckhouse design and different layouts, demonstrating the shipyard's determination to constantly improve its products.

15.90 m - Neel 52

Launched in 2017, the Neel 51 is a Joubert design. This time it was Lombard who took over the design of this range and launched the Neel 52 . This particularly comfortable cruising trimaran has now taken its place in the multihull landscape. The large saloon area is directly linked to the cockpit, and the incredible owner's cabin is on the same level, offering light and views to its occupants. This time, the starboard float is dedicated to the owner, with an office area and a huge shower room. However, the yacht still boasts 4 further double cabins and 2 additional crew cabins.

23.98 m - Fountaine-Pajot 80

With this multihull, the Fountaine-Pajot shipyard enters the superyacht league. Like the rest of the range, this yacht is designed by Berret Racoupeau, and is expected to be mass-produced at a rate of 5 units per year. This is a first for this shipyard, whose largest model to date was the Alégria 67.

21.40 m - Sunreef 70 Eco

Sunreef catamarans straddle the line between sailboat and yacht. Already present for several years, the Sunreef 70 now includes the Eco range. All surfaces of the boat - hull, deck, bimini, mast and boom - are covered with solar panels. The special feature is that these panels are integrated directly into the construction mold. This brings the total panel surface to 143 m2. Thus equipped, the yacht can generate 35.5 kW to power the 220 kW battery pack and the 2 x 90 kW electric motors. Eco as it may be, the Sunreef 70 retains 2 x 500 l diesel fuel tanks for the 2 x 75 kW generators.
