An XXL-sized afloat show
Created in 1973, the Grand Pavois has become a must-attend event for yachting enthusiasts. Located in the heart of the Port des Minimes, it is distinguished by its afloat layout, allowing visitors to board the boats on display.
With over 800 boats on display, including 300 afloat, the show offers direct access to boatyards, equipment manufacturers and service providers. Each year, the event attracts some 80,000 visitors, who come to discover the latest in sailing, motoring, RIBs, multihulls, equipment and onboard electronics.
Themes adapted to individual practices
The Grand Pavois is organized around several themed areas: multihull area (new in 2025), engine area, fishing and traditions area, wood village, gliding and innovation area. This segmentation enables yachtsmen, fishermen, professionals and the simply curious to optimize their visit according to their interests.
The 2025 edition will feature Fort Boyard, with events and meetings around this stopover. This choice, which is renewed every year, opens the door to other, sometimes distant, sailing areas.
A program punctuated by demonstrations and trials
The possibility of sailing is one of the major assets of the La Rochelle boat show. Upon reservation, sea trials are offered for many of the models on display. The program also includes demonstrations, seamanship workshops, professional meetings and conferences.
