To live aboard a boat dedicated to day sailing, you need both safety during the navigation phases and beautiful spaces to enjoy the sun and the anchorage, once at your destination. The Libecciu 1000 falls into this category of semi-rigid boat fitted out as a day boat.
No cabin, but storage space
There is no cabin here, but a U-shaped rear cockpit with benches to receive a few guests around a table for an aperitif or a meal. Well closed on the back, this space will also be very secure if you sail with children. Once arrived, this square corner is transformed into a beautiful sunbathing area by lowering the table.
The passage to the rear platforms and the engine compartment is made by polyester sidewalls that cover the flanges on each side.
Huge sunbathing area on the front
In front of this saloon: the steering console. It can be covered as an option, as was the case with our test boat, with a canvas T-top on an aluminum structure. But above all, the steering seat, designed for 2 people, hides an outdoor kitchen accessible from the rear. In front of the console, a huge sunbathing area will be well appreciated by the crew.
Huge storage volumes
We will note the huge storage volumes present in the whole boat. Under the front sundeck, a sort of console door lifts up to give access to this totally empty space. At the bow, a large anchor locker houses an electric windlass - available as an option, but almost mandatory on a boat of this size - large enough for all the anchorages that exit directly under the bow.
We also appreciate the volume of the console, which houses a mini cabin that can be fitted out according to the customer's wishes. An optional chemical or electric marine toilet will be welcome. This console will also be a nice space to isolate yourself and put on a bathing suit.
