Space everywhere to spare

With a nacelle length practically equivalent to that of the hulls, the surface area of the main deck is optimised. Forward and aft cockpit, sunbathing area above the davits and a very large saloon compensates for the reduced flybridge area to make room for the solar panels. Clever benches are arranged on the side decks, at the front of the deckhouse and in the cockpit so that everyone can find their corner of privacy. On the day of the test, there were more than 25 of us on board without any major traffic problems. The very ergonomic flybridge can still accommodate five or six people without hindrance. At night, the subtly proportioned lighting provides a very cosy atmosphere.

A very ergonomic circulation plan

The connection between the outside and the inside, where the headroom everywhere is over 2 metres, is made by a sliding window over half the width. In spite of the number of people on board, traffic flows smoothly, as the cross-shaped layout is very efficient. It serves the master or the two cabins at the front of the gondola, the companionway giving access to the guest cabins on each side, while skilfully separating the entrance with its large fridge, the U-shaped galley, the saloon and a commodity-interior wardrobe unit. The dining table in the saloon will be more suitable for a three-cabin version, but the cockpit table is modular and will satisfy more guests.

Very modular cabins

A high degree of modularity has been chosen to adapt the Silent 55 to a wide range of applications. From the three-cabin luxury version with a full beam owner's suite forward with en suite shower room in one hull and a desk in the other, to a 6-cabin version with four bathrooms, all possibilities are available, including twin beds instead of doubles. The bathrooms are systematically equipped with electric toilets and separate showers. The comfort equipment has nothing to envy to a luxury motoryacht, double-door fridge, induction hob, air conditioning, nothing is missing for the best comfort.

A finish that could still improve

This third version of the Silent 55 is a clear improvement over the first version presented two years ago. The furniture is assembled in marine plywood dressed with more or less precious wood species on request. The materials are chic: leather, alcantara, Corian, stainless steel are a good match. Our model had a very light beech wood finish which brought a nice luminosity. The rigour of the brand's teams guarantees high quality work, but can still improve in terms of possible choices of style and decoration. The future buyers are however welcome to participate in order to create an interior in their own style.
