A new Outremer for a new era

The Outremer shipyard enriches its range with the Outremer 48, a catamaran that retains the brand's DNA while introducing some striking innovations. Designed with the assistance of naval architects VPLP and designers Patrick Le Quément and Darnet Design, this model is inspired by the Outremer 45, while offering an optimized 48-foot length. Its launch, presented during a webinar attended by over 300 enthusiasts, confirms the interest it is arousing at international boat shows.
Performance and comfort: a sought-after alchemy

The Outremer 48 combines marine performance and habitability. Its design makes for fast sailing, with the ability to reach wind speed in light airs while maintaining exemplary stability in heavy weather. With a beam of 7.56 m, a variable draught of 1.25 to 2.10 m (daggerboards) and a weight of between 10.5 and 15 tons, it combines maneuverability and safety, even with a reduced crew.
Ergonomic cockpit and helm station

The helm station benefits from Outremer's innovative system: a pivoting helm offering four positions âeuros center for standard sailing, starboard for better visibility downwind, port for easier maneuvering and a raised position for an unobstructed view when sailing on the high seas âeuros to adapt to sailing conditions and style. The 360° visibility from the cockpit and saloon makes it easy to keep an eye on the water, and ensures optimum control in all circumstances. The double watch seat, facing each other, provides additional comfort, whether underway or at anchor.

A modular, customizable layout

With 10 layout configurations, the Outremer 48 meets the varied needs of yachtsmen. The forward port cabin, called "My Free Space", can be configured as a single, double, triple, convertible office, workshop, dressing room or even a children's cabin. Ideal flexibility for long-distance cruisers.

Optimal accessibility and safety

The Outremer 48 has been designed to make life on board easier and safer. The low boom allows easy access to the mainsail for furling, limiting effort and risk. In addition, access to the roof is facilitated by two steps close to the mast, enabling crew of all levels to participate in maneuvers with complete peace of mind.
A catamaran ready for any adventure
Designed for demanding sailors, the Outremer 48 combines technical features and user-friendliness, based on the experience accumulated by Outremer and its community of sailors around the world. Suitable for long-distance cruising as well as more sporty outings, it allows you to envisage fast offshore sailing with serenity.
