At a time when people are thinking about renewing their agenda, Glénat proposes "L'Agenda Mer 2017". Bound like a book with a thick, embossed cover that is very pleasant to hold. This book is illustrated by Jean-Benoît Héron with a weekly drawing of a lighthouse on the coasts of France.

All the drawings have as background, a map of the SHOM with a red dot indicating the position of the lighthouse. Some brief indications reveal the date of construction and the height of the lighthouse. There is also a circle around the focus to represent the frequency, colour and number of flashes of the lighthouse. A few exploded views depict in detail the interiors of the most prestigious lighthouses. Even furniture details.

At a time when automation has chased away the last lighthouse keepers, finding very precise drawings of this heritage makes it possible to realize its quality and prevent it from sinking into oblivion.

A simple little book, but which finds its perfect place at the foot of the fir tree for all sea lovers, sailors or not.
