A book to pick up to discover the navy.

The short Navy Quiz gives us a quick overview of the Navy, its history, its ships and its men. A cheap manual that makes you want to investigate further.

Do you know the origin of the word "sailor", what is the function of the figurehead? When were torpedoes first used? It is in the form of 80 seemingly innocent little questions that the Little Navy Quiz offers us a view of the French Navy from its origins to the present day.

Because this is the Navy we're talking about. Written by Grégoire Thonnat in partnership with the Musée National de la Marine, this really small pocket book (12.7 x 8.5 cm) wants to remain very playful. With only one question per page illustrated each time, this book is completed by a list of the 10 characters of the history of the Navy, the 10 inventions that revolutionized the Navy, and the 10 ships in the history of the Navy.

A timeline with a chronology of the Navy also makes it possible to situate the various events in time and gives the reader points of reference that make him want to go further. Navy enthusiasts will be able to compare their knowledge here, while those who are not experts in the field will have a first approach to this world made up of uniforms and feats of arms.

A small book in which you can pick up a knowledge base and which makes you want to visit the Musée de la Marine, whether it is the Trocadero Museum in Paris or the one in Brest, Lorient (Port-Louis), Rochefort or Toulon.

A really nice mini-book that we had great pleasure to pick up and which remains very accessible to all, even the youngest, especially considering its extremely affordable price of 6.90 euros!
