Test / Grand 850 Golden Line: performance and comfort in one!

The first part of this test of the Grand 850 Golden Line, with the boat's program and philosophy. In front of the bow, different horizons for the same pleasure: being on the water.

Despite the conflict with Russia, the Ukrainian founders of the Grand brand were able to adapt and relocate production to Lviv, further west from the main factory in Kharkiv. An additional 5,000 m2 to continue assembling and delivering units renowned for their seaworthiness and finish.

Since the brand was founded, special attention has been paid to safety and the materials used. Ineos gelcoat and resin, Hypalon tubes, Spradling marine textile upholstery...

The 21 Grand models range from 3.40 m to 9.50 m. They are divided into 3 branches:

  • the Drive Line range for fast cruisers and professional outboards
  • the more functional and family-friendly Silverline range
  • the Golden Line series, dedicated to exclusive yachts, with 11 units ranging from 3.40 m to 8.50 m.

Setting sail at (very) high speed

Seen from the quayside, just a few metres from us and despite, or thanks to, the gloomy weather, the Grand 850 makes a strong impression in its daytime configuration.

There is, of course, the brand's (...) a functional and luxurious boat, equally suited to a family outing or a party on the water (...)"s1"> A versatile unit in the style of a hunting station wagon, with fine finishes, a long list of options and equipment to live up to its name. Gold in its sights for demanding sailors determined to enjoy hours of cruising, whatever the conditions.
