If you wish to pimper you're in for a treat with your brand-new RIB. The Ukrainian Grand shipyard, through its French importer Toni Marine, offers everything you need to make your Grand 850 Golden Line stand out from the crowd, both on the pontoon and at sea.
Electronics include a 12" Simrad screen, an Airmar transducer, Fusion Music Kit and 3 optional 6.5" speakers. Enough to set the mood at sunset. On the engine side, the Honda twin BF200 XDU with electric drive is available for almost ?50,000. This is the maximum power available. You can also opt for the electric console control kit for just over ?1,000.
Hypalon Black Carbon fabric is priced at ?2,824 and Gelcoat Black or Dark Grey at ?3,188.
The Grand Luxe package includes the 2 platforms with ladder and handrails, ski bar and stainless steel handrails.
To complete these options, there's a choice of black performance steering wheel, removable rear sundeck and table, shower kit with 75 L tank and in-seat sink for ?1,649, stainless steel sunshade, electric windlass for ?6,173, Seadeck anti-skid and A-railing strip for ?450.
The boat presented in our test, with options and ready to sail, has a price tag of ?160,239.
A well-positioned price for a quality RIB

This price is quite similar to the Altagna semi-rigid offered by the Corsican shipyard Fanale, available for around ?125,000.

Highfield's Sport 900 boasts excellent modularity and a price tag of around ?120,000.

Another example comes from Italy, with the Zar 85 SL. More expensive, it costs around ?200,000 fully equipped. The price to pay for extra exclusivity.

Last but not least, the Marlin 850 HD offers a fine finish and good marine qualities for just over ?170,000.
For a mid-range price, Grand offers a qualitatively successful RIB.
