Test / Nuva M11 Open, a Mediterranean weekender that doesn't shy away from performance

The Nuva M11 Open is the latest in a range of 3 models from 6 to 9 m, available in several versions. At 11.35 m in length, it is also the largest model built by Spanish shipyard Nuva Yachts. Find out more about this typically Mediterranean model.

2016 saw the launch of the Nuva Yachts brand, created by Andrés Cardenas, ex-director of Bavaria, among others. Following the launch of the M6S, then the M6, M8 and M9 in Open and Cabin versions, the Spanish shipyard presents the Nuva M11.

This 11.35 m long weekender has a strong Mediterranean character and modern, elegant lines, as evidenced by the openings in the bulwarks. The design guidelines focus on performance, access to the sea and personalization. For example, the Nuva M11 features tilting side bulwarks, beautiful bathing platforms for swimming, a huge sundeck for relaxing, and a galley for easy dining.

Finally, below deck, the headroom makes it possible to stand upright, and the two open cabins - one of which is a mid-cabin - are ideal for a family. Because that's what the Nuva M11 is all about: offering a unit for young families or large families with a first experience of boating.

Last but not least, performance is not to be outdone, with two engine options, 2x300 or 2x350 hp. Its pronounced V-shaped hull cuts through rough seas, reaching a maximum speed of 32 knots.
