The largest model in the range
The Finnish shipyard Sarins Båtar is expanding its range from the top with the new Sargo 45, a robust 14.60 m Fishing boat. This model completes the current range, from 25 to 36 feet.
"There was a lot of demand for a 45-foot model. And the Sargo 45 allows us to offer a boat with 3 real cabins. We really focused on ergonomics and comfort." explains Eric Martin, manager of Chantier du Redo, the brand's French importer.
The Sargo 45 has the same features as the range, namely wide side doors for easy access, a flush and walkaround deck, a cupola door and a bright cockpit with a large sunroof.
Two beautiful outdoor living areas
Outside, the Sargo 45 offers two large cockpits. One forward with a sundeck, bench seat and table, and one aft, well protected by the transom, with an L-shaped bench seat. Circulation is easy all around the boat via wide gangways without steps and circulation is facilitated by the rear and side doors. Finally, the beautiful bathing platform allows easy access to the water.
A spacious cockpit
Inside, the cockpit features a spacious dashboard that can accommodate two 22-inch screens. The steering console can be tilted as on all Sargo boats. Three co-pilot seats on the port side allow you to sail facing the sea.
At the back, a spacious saloon welcomes up to 8 guests and faces a fully equipped kitchen.
Three cabins and two bathrooms
The sleeping area is offered with a choice of two or three cabins: a forward owner's cabin with a double bed and a bathroom with shower, an aft cabin with two single beds and a second bathroom. As an option, a third double cabin is available on the starboard side.
"The Sargo 45 already offers all the expected equipment and the options will really be related to comfort: joystick, air conditioning, generator, washing machine, dishwasher or central vacuum cleaner. The Sargo 45 is also available in the Explorer version, which offers even more finishing details: choice of colors, stainless steel handrail, leather covering" says Eric Martin.
A robust and sporty boat
The Sargo 45 is equipped with two diesel engines powered by Z-Drive or IPS bases with 2X400 hp up to 2x480 hp. Its cruising speed is announced at 30 knots and its top speed at 35. Like all the boats in the range, the Sargo 45 is capable of facing all sailing conditions, in complete safety.
The molds have already been manufactured and production will begin, with the first unit to be launched in the summer of 2022. The Sargo 45 is being sold at 815,000 euros including tax, ex-Finland.
