Test / Pricing and Prestige 460 alternatives, equipment that enhances the level of luxury

The Prestige 460 is a comfortable star. A list of Packs and modern comfort equipment, is in the catalogue to make a small yacht engine

A bathing platform as standard

Prestige 460

It is not common so we take advantage of this to say it, the hydraulic bathing platform is included in the basic price which amounts to 513,000 euros excluding VAT. The Marlin Weiss upholstery and the electric toilet or windlass are also part of this list, which is long enough to reserve the options for the best. The standard woodwork is in Moabi and you will have to go to the option catalogue to have Grey Oak or a laminated wood living room floor.

Packs for navigation and comfort

Prestige 460

Of course, our test boat was equipped with different Packs and some options, such as the electric flaps which raise the price, except the Dock Sense system which is about 5% of the price of the boat, at 633 595 euros HT. Thus the "Preference" Pack will provide you with sunbeds with adjustable backrests, cockpit and flybridge benches and tables and, among other things, a windlass remote control on the flybridge.

Luxury options

Prestige 460

But our boat was also equipped with options that contribute to feeling in a luxurious universe. If we considered the air conditioning with chilled water a little expensive at 41,000 euros HT, the Excellence pack seems very appropriate to us with Ceram vitro hobs and combi oven. The Bower & Wilkins Multi-Zone Audio Pack includes touch control. The Entertainment Pack, includes a media server, wifi router and TV cabling for the lounge and master cabin. The "Laminam" sink tops and kitchen worktop in "Laminam" marks a point in the level of elegance by perfectly imitating marble.

And the competition?

The 45-foot Flybridge launch segment has recently been suspended by brands such as Sunseeker, Azimut, Fairline or Bénéteau with the MC range, preferring to start this category from 50 feet where you can benefit from four cabins. There are still a few icons left in the sector.

Overseas, the Princess F 45 is the first competitor targeted by the Prestige. It offers only two cabins, but a more personalized finish. On the transalpine side, Ferretti is aligning its 450 with the possibility of a third cabin with bunk beds without renouncing the master in a central position, but no aft cabin. Absolute yachts maintains its 45 fly in the catalogue in two cabins plus one for the sailor. Finally, Galeon, in Poland, made headlines with its motor launches with pivoting hull sides that widen the side decks and create an XXL bar area around the aft cockpit. The 460 Fly has three cabins, one of which also has bunk beds. Speed and fuel consumption are fairly similar on all these models; it is rather the layout and finishes that determine the choice.
