Only one descent
The private rear descent to the master cabin of the 450 light is abandoned in favour of a single central front descent. Two enormous benefits result from this. First of all, the kitchen gains this space to house a large fridge and a convenient piece of furniture to store the dishes. This also offers the possibility of fitting two twin cabins with their private entrances under the saloon. These two cabins, a little narrow, will share a bathroom located in a passageway at the foot of the descent, under which a washing machine can be installed as an option. If you choose the master, it occupies the entire width, is very bright thanks to the large windows with a height under the beam of more than 1.90 m around the bed. The front cabin can be used as a twin cabin with the bed splitting in two.
A spacious and bright square
The storage space gained in the kitchen allows you to enjoy a sofa facing the table surrounded by its U-shaped bench seat. This is very pleasant, especially since the large reflective windows provide clarity without the effects of UV rays. The galley next to the aft cockpit is very high-tech. The standard Corian can be replaced by Laminam which imitates marble perfectly. The overall level of finish is on the rise with silkier and more luxurious materials than before. New suppliers such as Monalison for bed linen and Marlin Weiss for upholstery have entered the catalogue. The exterior upholstery has also been repositioned to a higher standard.
The flybridge is a place where you spend a lot of time on a cruise. The one on the 460 is very complete. Every function of everyday life on a cruise is present. The cockpit, small kitchen, L-shaped bench seat and dining table and sunbathing bench seat near the pilot allow you to have a good time. As an option, the bimini covers the entire fly surface, but you can also have a hard top. What more can I say in this size? It's perfect.
Lazaret or aft cabin
The aft cargo compartment under the aft cockpit seats is accessible only through a cover under the cushions. It's not easy, and a door on the transom would have been more practical, especially if we decided to transform this lazaret into an additional cabin for a sailor, a hostess or children.
