Sailing monohulls to discover for the 2019 season

The 2019 season will be rich in new monohulls. Already in the water this summer, still under construction for others, they will begin their commercial life in the coming days. Bateaux.com draws up an inventory (certainly not exhaustive!) of new sailboat models from 4 to 30 m ! For all tastes, all uses (and all wallets).

4.30 m - First 14

Nouveautés Monocoques à voile 2018

Behind this name is in fact the manufacturer Seascape bought by the giant Bénéteau. In the redemption basket was the Seascape 14, a single or double dinghy. The trick comes from the double daggerboard well which allows sailing without jib solo or with jib and gennaker double.

Still in cat-boat, the Ikone 6.50 completes the range between 6.00 and 7.50. 7.50 m - Focus 750

Built in Poland in the Sobusiak shipyards, this 7.50 m sailboat remains transportable. An integrated goat is even available as an option. The lifting keel offers a good abseiling torque and the very large cockpit will be as practical in regattas as in coastal cruising. A small modern and fast unit for those who are looking above all for the pleasure of sailing.

7.90 m - Pabouk 700

Faithful to its original concept, the Pabouk 700, the largest model ever built by Antoine Carmichael, is a cat-boat (mast on the bow) with a liquid ballast (to lighten it during road transport). The result are long keel sailboats (the 700 is designed by Marc Lombard) that offer extremely comfortable marine behaviour and the ability to descend into the wind bed thanks to a rig without stays.
