Leaving Pasaia on 28 May 2018, the Hermione makes an exceptional stop on its way back to Bordeaux. Thus, the frigate anchored in front of Saint-Jean-de-Luz this Friday, to remain there until tomorrow, Saturday 2nd June.

On board the Hermione for this 2018 campaign "Hermione 2018, Free Together from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean" nothing is going as planned... On 28th May, the frigate - a symbol of freedom - left the Spanish Basque Country for Bordeaux (scheduled arrival on 8th June), the last stopover of her Mediterranean programme, before returning to Rochefort on 17th June.

But before that, the frigate has just anchored off Saint-Jean-de-Luz this Friday, June 1, and will remain there until tomorrow, Saturday, June 2. She will of course be visible from land, but also at sea. Nevertheless, the association recommends "extreme caution... and a safe distance from all boaters and powerboat owners who wish to view the vessel."

Of course, for logistical reasons, the frigate will not be able to receive visitors, but will only offer a nice visual spectacle in the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

The Hermione will leave her anchorage in Saint-Jean-de-Luz on Saturday 2nd June in the early afternoon to set sail for Bordeaux where she is expected from 8th to 14th June.
